A. Gencehan Babiş is Secretary General of the Turkish Centre for International Relations and Strategic Analysis (TURKSAM), Ankara. Former parliamentary adviser during the 24th legislative term (2011 – 2015), he is specialized in security and foreign policy affairs, with a particular focus on Turkey, Southern Caucasus, and the United States. Mr. Babiş published extensively on international relations outlets, and is a regular television and radio commentator. He earned his bachelor degree from the Ankara University, Faculty of Political Science, and continued his academic studies on Turkey-Azerbaijan relations at the Middle East Technical University (METU).
